[FIC] Summoned by Spells

Author: wemyss
Title: Summoned by Spells
Rating: PG
Word Count: 6,236.
Pairing(s): Teddy gen (later Teddy/ Victoire); canon pairings; later reference to Harry/Draco (blink and you'll miss it). This is fundamentally gen.
Warnings: None, really, unless you don't like Andromeda, the growing pains of a young Ravenclaw Metamorphmagus, school pashes, bisexual characters presented as being actually human and decent, deaths not seen on the page, or the poetry of Sir John Betjeman.
Disclaimer: All Harry Potter characters herein are the property of J.K. Rowling and Bloomsbury/Scholastic. No copyright infringement is intended.
Summary: Teddy Lupin's verse autobiography, in which he confronts the Black past, serious parental (and especially paternal) Abandonment Issues (as the Yanks say), a Celebrated Godfather, and a Formidable Grandmother.
Prompt: #9: Teddy starts digging into his Black family history and learns a new appreciation for how strong his grandmother must have been to break free of a lifetime of indoctrination of pure-blood supremacy.
Author's Notes: This is all too obviously a pastiche of Betjeman's verse autobiography, Summoned by Bells. I am indebted to N and F for yeoman yeoperson sod it, yeoman work in the editing of it.
